Women improve lives

Women’s intrinsic leadership, compassion, and authenticity uniquely position them to start and run their own businesses, lead traditional organizations with more impact, enhance professional communities, and live full lives.

At SARONGE, our mission is to ensure life-changing outcomes for women in their careers by providing rich, data-driven education and coaching for 3 segments: women new to the workforce, seasoned professionals who are reassessing, and new entrepreneurs.

Our vision is for women to have the knowledge, tools and support to:

  • See and be themselves

  • Develop and express their self-worth

  • Effectively understand and address current career challenges and opportunities

  • Prepare and launch new careers and businesses

  • Reframe and recover from setbacks

  • Look beyond the corporate landscape for what is possible

  • Create and engage in safe and caring spaces for themselves and others

Meet kim and tess

Kim is a former Vice President for EssilorLuxottica North America. She left the organization in 2023 after 27 years, and co-founded Saronge. Kim began her career as an entry-level employee in a small independent eyeglass manufacturing facility while she was in college, and through a strong work ethic and set of values, a die hard commitment to community and collaboration, and incredible sponsorship, she became one of the few women who were able to rise to GM, Director and then VP within Operations, always committed to helping other women along the way through her direct mentorship and advocacy. Kim’s professional experience and resultant expertise includes Business Management, Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Kim lives in a small beach community in Southern California with her 2 children and their 2 long-haired guinea pigs. They also have a 100-year old desert tortoise. It’s a SoCal thing.

Tess is a seasoned program manager in the utility solar industry with over 20 years of experience driving teams, projects, and operations. Her project management and development background and her PMP, AWS Cloud, and Scrum certifications underscore her commitment to excellence and innovation. Tess’s career journey has given her firsthand experience navigating and excelling in male-dominated industries, and she is passionate about helping women overcome career obstacles, advocate for themselves, and achieve professional success.
